RANE ARROYO
Of Puerto Rican heritage, Rane Arroyo was born in Chicago and has spent much of his life there. He is both a poet and playwright.
Previous books of poetry include The Red Bed (1993), Columbus's Orphan (1993), Television Poems (1992), and Death Cab for Cutie (1991).
His play Anita Frank was performed in Chicago in teh 1996/1997 season, and the play The House with Black Windows, cowritten with poet Glenn Sheldon was performed at the 1996 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
